PortLUG Meeting
August 8 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
It’s official! PortLUG has joined the LEGO Fan CoLab!
Join PortLUG for an informational meeting as we migrate into the new CoLab community format. We’ll be sharing the latest LUG and AFOL updates, along with parts trading, a MOC showcase, and a Star Wars parts draft you don’t want to miss!
- 12 pm: Social Hour & Parts Trading: Come early and catch up with your fellow AFOLs. This month, bring your extra and/or unwanted LEGO parts and trade with your fellow members for new parts. Tables will be available first-come, first-serve.
- 1 pm: PortLUG Meeting & MOC Showcase: PortLUG Board elections are coming! Get the rundown on all the open board positions and current opportunities to help guide PortLUG forward in the new LEGO Fan CoLab. Following announcements, we’ll enjoy a MOC showcase where you’re invited to bring in one of your latest LEGO creations and share with the community. Get ready to field questions about part selections, building techniques, and your overall inspiration.*
- 2 pm: Mystery Draft: PortLUG has acquired multiple copies of a large Star Wars set and has parted it out into individual parts bags, with a total of more than 8300 parts available! There are 20 participation spots available at $25 each, first-come first-served. RSVP at director@portlug.org.
PortLUG meetings are open to the public and free to attend for all 18+ LEGO fans and builders. Minors are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult. PortLUG meetings may discuss adult topics and contain adult language. See the PortLUG About Page for more information.
*Programming update: The creative brainstorm originally scheduled for this meeting will be moved to a future meeting date.
